3 WAYS TO CURE MUSCLE KNOTS
A muscle knot can be painful, not only due to its location, but to the difficulty finding effective pain relief. Here are three solutions.
Use a small ball to work the muscle. Grab some wall and roll the ball up the length of your muscle until the knot untangles. The more balls you can use, the firmer the massage. This can take several days of persistent use before you find natural relief using your body's own means if you hate the idea to taking over the counter pain medication.
Use a foam roller. We like this approach as you can lie down and use it or lie on the part affected and use your body's momentum to rock back and forth, working out the muscle knot. Done regularly, this can become a maintenance habit and prevents knots recurring.
Grab a deep tissue massage from a professional or specialist. If your knot is in an easy to reach place, you could massage it yourself after and bath or shower, every day, until your pain subsides.
